Hydrogenation of Carbon Dioxide to Methanol over Non-Noble Catalysts: A State-of-the-Art Review

چکیده

The malignant environmental changes caused by the ever-increasing amount of anthropogenic CO2 emissions have been particularly prominent in recent years. To achieve carbon mitigation and neutrality, hydrogenation to methanol is regarded as a promising sustainable route. However, development catalysts with exceptional performance establishment clear structure–activity relationship remain formidable challenges. Considering lack state-of-the-art review on catalytic progress over non-noble catalysts, we conducted detailed terms thermodynamic analysis, development, reaction mechanism. In this work, mainly reviewed latest research different including Cu-based, In2O3-based, bimetallic, solid solution, other catalysts. Meanwhile, summarized effects support materials, promoters, preparation methods performance. addition, also possible mechanisms direct methanol.
